Campbellsville University Board of Trustees Chair Joseph Owens got some new shoes at the board  meeting today! Larry Gatlin of the Gatlin Brothers noticed Owens black/white oxford shoes at the  April 17 concert on campus and bought them for $1,000 and Owens left the concert in his socks.  Benji Kelly, vice president for development, found a replacement pair of shoes online, and  Dr. Michael V.  Carter, CU president, made a presentation to Owens with some new shoes at the  board meeting in the Chowning Executive Dining Room. Owens said he’d take $5,000 for this pair!
