Students have been studying drama this week at Campbellsville University in an “Spur of the Moment: Improve Workshop.” Nathan Allen, CU adjunct instructor in human performance and theater, has led the camp assisted by Julia Tan, a senior at CU from Malaysia. Allen has taught the campers different improvisation exercises and techniques, improvisation vocabulary and how to think on their feet in front of an audience. The groups had a performance at the end of the camp for family and friends. There have been two groups – 5-8-year olds and 9-12-year olds. The 9-12-year olds include from left: Front row – Natalie Ford, Emma Smith, Cheyanne Hall, Shelby Cunningham, Molly Bemis, Grayson Wise and Emma Humphress. Back row – Jack Ford and Jeremiah Jackson.
