Campbellsville University’s Division of Humanities offers degree programs in English, mass communication, film, theater, and modern foreign languages. Across the liberal arts, we aim to prepare students for academic and vocational pursuits, while grounding them with Christian values.
Currently, there are four Humanities departments:
Campbellsville University offers an area, a major, and minor in English, as well as certification for students who aspire to teach English in grades 8-12.
Majors and minors are available in Broadcasting and Digital Media, Journalism, Public Relations, and Film. Students may also enroll in a Photojournalism minor.
The department offers a major and minor in Spanish and French, as well as cultural courses, including a class in Chinese culture. Study Abroad opportunities are available through the Center of Education Abroad.
Students may major in Theater with an emphasis in Production or Performance. The university also offers a minor in Theater.
