Theatre Policies and Additional Information

Campbellsville University’s Theatre and Dance Department strives to ensure every performance is enjoyable, engaging, and respectful for our audience, performers, and staff. We ask that all guests review the following theatre guidelines before attending a show to help us maintain a positive and welcoming environment for everyone.

Flash photography, video recording, and the use of any mobile devices during performances are strictly prohibited. These activities can distract performers and create visibility issues for other audience members. We encourage you to enjoy the show live in the moment and share your experience afterward.

We welcome children and families to our performances! If a child becomes restless or noisy, please be considerate of the audience and step into the lobby or designated area until your child is comfortable returning. For parents anticipating more frequent exits, we recommend seating in the balcony for easier access with minimal disruption to others.

We ask all audience members to help foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. Please treat every guest, faculty member, staff member, and student performer with courtesy and respect. Applaud and respond to the performance with enthusiasm—your positive energy enriches the entire theatre experience.

Accessible seating and accommodations are available for guests with mobility or sensory needs. Please contact the box office in advance to arrange suitable seating or support.

All ticket sales are final. Exchanges or refunds are only offered in the event of a cancellation or schedule change. We encourage early reservations to secure preferred seating.

Late arrivals may be asked to wait until an appropriate break in the performance before being seated to ensure minimal disruption to both audience and performers.
