The Clay Hill Memorial Forest (CHMF) is a 305-acre educational and research forest managed by Campbellsville University. Serving as a regional center for environmental education, forestry research, and conservation, CHMF provides hands-on learning opportunities for students, educators, and community members interested in the study and stewardship of eastern deciduous forests. The forest supports field-based learning and undergraduate research in areas such as ecology, conservation biology, entomology, and ornithology. Through education, research, and public outreach, CHMF promotes sustainable forest management and a greater understanding of the environmental, recreational, and economic value of forest ecosystems.
