Program Overview
At Campbellsville University, the Human Performance Division offers dynamic programs that prepare you for careers in sports, health, wellness, and graduate study, with 96% of our students accepted into professional graduate schools. Pursue pre-professional tracks like Sport Medicine - Exercise Science or Pre-Athletic Training if you're planning for graduate school, or choose the Sport Medicine - Fitness/Wellness program for hands-on training and immediate career readiness. We also offer a fully online Fitness and Sport Training Certificate, which includes four NASM certifications. Our Health and Physical Education program leads to K–12 teaching and coaching certification, while Sport Management is offered both in-person and online at undergraduate and graduate levels. For those called to community and corporate wellness, the fully online Public Health program prepares you for meaningful impact. Bachelor Programs
The Athletic Coaching Minor provides students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to coach and lead athletes effectively. HP 391 Adapted Physical Education class coordinated and led a Disabilities Awareness Day. They created various stations to simulate specific disabilities, and the Health and PE Sport Skills class participated in the activities to develop a better understanding of what students with disabilities experience in our classes every day.

The Health and Physical Education students participate in the KYSHAPE conference each year. In 2023, Campbellsville University hosted it on our campus for the first time. This is our 3rd year in a row reigning as champions in the SuperStars competition!

Students who were enrolled in our Sport Marketing class had the opportunity to not only attend a Cincinnati Reds game, but also were able to meet with a member of their marketing team. In this meeting, they were told what tactics, software, techniques, and other tools the Reds use to grab the attention of their audience before, during, and after the season.

Sport Marketing took a trip to Cincinnati this weekend to tour the Reds' stadium and the FC Cincinnati stadium. They met with marketing and sponsorship staff from each organization during their trip.
Campbellsville University’s Health and Physical Education classes proudly hosted the
3rd Annual Field Day for the Kentucky Christian Academy (KCA) at Finley Stadium. The
event brought students together for a day of fun, fitness, and friendly competition,
promoting teamwork and healthy living in a spirited outdoor setting.

Sports Management students got some real-world and hands-on experience working the NFL Draft in Detroit, MI. As a student in Human Performance here at Campbellsville University, doors are open for extraordinary experiences.
