Our program offers two Marriage and Family Therapy programs to fit your personal and professional goals at our Los Angeles Education Center and our Louisville campus. No matter which path you choose, our Marriage and Family Therapy programs are designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience to make a real difference in the lives of individuals, couples, and families.
Program Mission Louisville: The mission of the Campbellsville University Marriage and Family Therapy Program at the Louisville campus is to equip compassionate clinicians through a Christ-centered framework that integrates academic excellence, ethical practice, and systemic theory. Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE), the program prepares students to become competent marriage and family therapists who are committed to serving individuals, couples, and families across varied cultural and community contexts with professionalism and integrity.
Program Mission Los Angeles Education Center (LAEC): The Phillips Marriage and Family Therapy Program at Campbellsville University’s Los Angeles Education Center is dedicated to cultivating culturally responsive and spiritually grounded clinicians who are prepared to serve the diverse needs of California communities. Accredited by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE), the program fosters critical thinking, ethical practice, and inclusive therapeutic skills, empowering students to pursue licensure and impactful careers as marriage and family therapists in a multicultural society.

Campbellsville University’s Louisville MFT program is COAMFTE-accredited and prepares students for licensure in Kentucky and other states.
Our Phillips Marriage and Family Therapy program at our Los Angeles Education Center (LAEC) is separately approved by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE), with a curriculum designed specifically to meet California licensure requirements.
