Dr. Moreira holds a Ph.D. in Leadership from Lancaster Bible College | Capital Seminary. His academic credentials also include doctoral studies in Leadership and Higher Education (ABD), a Master of Theology (ThM), and a Master of Arts in Christian Education (MACE) with an emphasis in Youth Ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary; a Master of Theology (MTh) and Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Campbellsville University; a Bachelor of Theology (BTh) from Faculdade Unida in Brazil; and training as a Metallurgical Technician from the Federal Technical School of Espírito Santo (ETFES, currently IFES), Brazil.

With more than twenty years of ministry experience in both the United States and Brazil, Dr. Moreira is an ordained minister of the Gospel who has served in a variety of pastoral leadership roles. His ministry journey began as Discipleship Pastor at Primeira Igreja Batista de Laranjeiras in Brazil, followed by service as Senior Pastor of Igreja Batista Central de Vitória. He currently serves as Senior Pastor of Fairview Baptist Church in Mannsville, Kentucky.

In addition to his pastoral ministry, Dr. Moreira has taught extensively in theological education. He has served on the faculty of CETEBES and STB seminaries in Brazil and currently teaches full-time at Campbellsville University. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor in doctoral programs at Lancaster Bible College | Capital Seminary in Pennsylvania and Faculdade Teológica Sul Americana in Londrina, Paraná, Brazil.

Dr. Moreira's research interests focus on servant leadership, particularly applying Robert K. Greenleaf's servant leadership principles to prevent and mitigate pastoral burnout. He also explores the effective use of artificial intelligence as a resource for theological education, ministry leadership, and ecclesiastical service.

Outside of his academic and ministry responsibilities, Dr. Moreira enjoys investing in his family. He has been married to his high school sweetheart, Valeska, for twenty-nine years. Together, they are the proud parents of two children, Erika and Alex, both students at Campbellsville University.
