Jeffrey Herron
Dr. Jeffrey Herron is an Associate Professor, scholar, and higher education professional committed to advancing research, equity, and student success. A published author and dedicated student advocate, Dr. Herron’s interdisciplinary work focuses on family and community partnerships, mental health, cultural diversity, African-American families, non-resident fathers, juvenile delinquency, and poverty.
 
His research is rooted in a deep commitment to social justice and community engagement, with a particular emphasis on the systemic factors that influence family structures and life outcomes. As both an educator and researcher, Dr. Herron seeks to bridge the gap between academic scholarship and real-world application, fostering inclusive and supportive environments within and beyond the realm of higher education.
