Through the Office of Community and Access, the following initiatives are designed to support access, community-building, and retention across campus. Through these initiatives, faculty, staff, and students are provided a space for advocacy, mentorship, and professional development. Additionally, the mentorship opportunities promote cultural awareness and foster a globally-minded campus community. Together, these initiatives work to create an environment where all members of the university can thrive, feel supported, and build meaningful connections.

Community and Student Success Initiatives

The mission of the Global Faculty and Staff Council is to champion student success and cultivate community amongst faculty and staff at CU. In addition, the Global Faculty and Staff Council exists to enhance advocacy, communication, collaborative efforts, and leadership opportunities to promote growth and development within the university.

The council aims to create an environment where everyone can thrive, feel supported, and engage in meaningful dialogue through community-building events, mentorship, and experiential learning, thereby supporting student success and the retention of international students. The council is open to all CU faculty and staff!

Staff Council serves as a representative voice for Campbellsville University staff, fostering communication, collaboration, and engagement across campus. The council works to support staff development, strengthen campus community, and promote initiatives that enhance the employee experience while advancing the university’s mission and values.
