Campbellsville University Concert Chorus to present ‘War and Peace’ April 18

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.— Campbellsville University's Concert Chorus will present “War and Peace,” Monday, April 18 at 8 p.m. in Ransdell Chapel, located at 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville.

The event is free and open to the public.

The program will consist of “The Requiem” by John Rutter and “Cantata of Peace” by Daniel Moe.

David Johnson, CU Concert Chorus director and music minister at Campbellsville Baptist Church, said, “The Requiem is sung in memory of those who have lost their lives fighting for the freedoms of our country. Cantata of Peace is dedicated to those who currently serve our country in the armed forces.”

The Concert Chorus is open to all students on campus as well as members of the community.
