Catherine Allen, 8, who attends Taylor County Elementary School, invites all her friends to attend Kids College. “You should do it! It is so fun!” she said.
Catherine, who attended the June session, said she loved doing all of the fun activities, and she loved performing in the play.
“I learned how to do things better than I did them before, and I learned new things that I didn't learn in school,” she said.
She took Mad Scientist and Lights, Stage, Action, and said her favorite was the acting class because “We had props, and we dressed up and performed the play for a group of people just like it was a real play.”
Catherine said she would “definitely” attend Kids College again.
She is the daughter of Ryan and Jodi Allen of Campbellsville. Jodi is director of counseling at Campbellsville University.
Registration for the camp is $75; this covers the entire instructional program including materials and a T-shirt. Kids College is filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
