Campbellsville University to host Steve Clay art exhibit

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Campbellsville University opens its doors to Glasgow, Ky. native, Steve Clay for an art exhibit Oct. 25 through Nov. 12.
Clay's work will be shown at the Campbellsville University Art Gallery, 205 University Drive, Campbellsville, Ky. A reception is at the gallery Friday, Nov. 12 from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. The public is invited to the art exhibit and reception free of charge.
Clay will display drawings. Clay said his work is “mostly self taught” - beyond high school art.
He said he has been drawing “off and on since 1973” and “only started drawing more often around 2002.”
Clay has had his work exhibited in Capital Arts, a gallery in Jefferson City, Mo. He also has a drawing in the 2007 issue of First Strokes of Genius, Best of Drawing book. Clay has also had a drawing exhibited in Glasgow, Scotland and at Capitol Arts in 2009.
