CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - The Campbellsville University Jazz Ensemble will be in concert Tuesday, April 13 in The Gheens Recital Hall, at 210 University Drive, in the Gosser Fine Arts Center on campu.

The program will begin at 8 p.m. and is free to the public.

Jennifer Tinnell, director of the ensemble who also is director of bands and instructor in music, said the Jazz Ensemble is made up of instrumentation commonly associated with the popular swing jazz era of the 1930s and 1940s including saxophones, trumpets, trombone, rhythm section and vocals.

Tinnell said the concert will feature a variety of instrumental and vocal soloists. “You won't want to miss this program as it will have a little something for everyone through the performance of swing, rock, soul, blues, calypso and Latin jazz music,” she said.

“Come a little early to get a good seat,” Tinnell said. “Bring a friend and plan on hearing some great music and having a lot of fun.
