CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Campbellsville University has reached a milestone 22nd consecutive semester of record enrollment for spring 2011 with a total enrollment of 3,074 students, according to Dr. Michael V. Carter, president.
The total enrollment, which is up from 2,935 in spring 2010, includes 504 graduate and 2,570 undergraduate students.
The nursing program at CU increased its enrollment from 61 in spring 2010 to 83 in spring 2011.
The total number of students enrolled in online programs increased as well, with 226 enrolled in spring 2010 and 281 now enrolled in spring 2011.
Dave Walters, vice president for admissions and student services, said, “We believe that dollar for dollar, prospective students and families realize that Campbellsville University is an extremely good value in private higher education today. With the current economic trends and tough decisions that families are having to make, they want and expect the most for their investment.”
CU's regional center enrollment went up from 363 in spring 2010, to 398 in spring 2011.
“Current students are remaining in school in record numbers as well and it's because they know firsthand that CU has delivered the full package higher education experience. Superior education, quality student life experiences and a highly qualified and dedicated administration, faculty and staff all brought together in a Christ-centered environment equals satisfied students,” Walters said.
Students working online toward a Master of Business Administration degree also increased from 40 in spring 2010 to 61 in spring 2011.
“Students that graduate and embrace that servant leadership model, which is at the core of our CU mission, helps others see what a valuable investment Campbellsville University has been and remains today,” Walters said.
It's not too early to begin thinking about enrolling in summer classes that are affordable and convenient.
