CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Would you like a summer theater program where your child could learn some acting skills and perform a play?
Campbellsville University's Theater Department fits the bill with the Summer Theater Program June 21-July 2.
Students can learn acting techniques and will perform Shakespeare's “Romeo and Juliet” at the end of the training, according to Starr Garrett, assistant professor/theater director. The program is open to students, ages nine to 15.
Garrett said students attending will get a T-shirt at the end of the camp, and there will be a pizza party after the performance.
The sessions will be in the afternoons, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., in the University Theater. Snacks will be provided each day. Cost is $200 per student
