CU professor’s film to screen in Somerset film festival

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - “Rocky the Boss,” a short comedy by Dejan Mraović, assistant professor of graphic design at Campbellsville University, will screen Saturday, Feb. 2 at 3:15 p.m. at the Stoner Little Theatre, Somerset Community College, located at 808 Monticello Street, Somerset, Ky.

Mraović's short comedy was the official selection of the 5th Winter Short Film Festival in Somerset, Ky. The festival is a part of Somerset Community College's Digital Video Productions, the film wing of the college's theater program. Selected films are coming from Argentina, Finland, France, Iran, Serbia, Spain and the United States.

It was also selected for the 38th Athens International Film and Video Festival in Athens, Ohio, and the 12th Dhake international Film Festival Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2012.

Mraović is multitasking as screenplay writer, leading actor, director, editor and producer. Jenna Verhoff served as the supporting actor, and Christopher Luessen as director of photography.
