CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Over the past several weeks, a group of Campbellsville University students involved in the Baptist Campus Ministry visited every residence hall room on campus to share Find it Here literature and to invite every CU student to church for Easter Sunday.

“There were several conversations about Find it Here, Easter and going to church,” said Ed Pavy, director of campus ministries at CU. “I don't know if there was any increase in student attendance at church this past Sunday. We can only hope.”

“I do know that inside every packet was an evangelistic piece which presents the plan of salvation. So if students only read the material left on their doors then they will have read about a savior who loves them, died in their place and rose again the third day,” Pavy said.

Find it Here is a campaign through the Kentucky Baptist Convention to deliver the Gospel to 1.5 million households across Kentucky in the weeks leading up to Easter Sunday 2010.

It is part of the God's Plan for Sharing (GPS) initiative of the North American Mission Board aimed at fulfilling the Great Commission in North America by 2020.

Find it Here features three main components: prayerwalking the state to ask God to prepare the hearts of the people for the Gospel distribution and media campaign to follow; gospel distribution of a plastic bag with a special Find It Here brochure and an invitation to attend a Kentucky Baptist church on Easter Sunday 2010; and a national media campaign featuring the stories of three people who found life unfulfilling until they found Christ.
