CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - The Rev. William E. Egbert of Madisonville, Ky., a 1983 graduate of Campbellsville College and a missionary with the International Mission Board will speak at Campbellsville University's chapel service Sept. 14 at 10 a.m. in Ransdell Chapel, located at 401 N. Hoskins Ave., Campbellsville.
This event will be free to the public.
Egbert has been a pastor in Kentucky for 15 years and has been involved with the IMB for the last 17 years, a position he currently holds.
Egbert is also a 1986 graduate of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he received a Master of Divinity. He graduated from Campbellsville College with a Bachelor of the Arts in Christian Studies.
He is a 1975 graduate of Madisonville North Hopkins High School.
He and his wife, Linda Spears Egbert, have two children together: Jessica Egbert, a sophomore at Campbellsville University, and Matt Egbert, a 2011 graduate of Campbellsville University.
Chapel is designed to provide opportunities for corporate worship and exposure through a variety of informative speakers and presentations. All chapels are open to the public free of charge and are televised live on WLCU (Comcast Cable channel 10) and on WLCU Radio 88.7 FM and are streamed live on the Internet.
