Program Overview 

Campbellsville University’s Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program consists of 200 hours of instruction designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge to assess and manage patients in emergencies. The program combines classroom learning, hands-on practice, and real-world experience in both pre-hospital and hospital emergency settings. Students will gain the expertise needed to provide critical care to acutely ill or injured patients, preparing them for EMT certification and a successful career in emergency medical services. Upon completion of the program, graduates are eligible to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) exam and seek licensure in the state of Kentucky to work as EMTs.
