The online teacher leader program's core curriculum introduces you to teacher leadership skills and explores different leadership styles. You will also examine and use the practical skills in student assessment that are necessary for curriculum planning. The degree covers technology in the classroom for public school teachers and how to apply technology in such a way that all students will learn.
Finally, the online teacher leader program includes two action research practicum courses. The action research practicums incorporate the research and knowledge acquired from the other courses to provide real-world experience in the field. You will examine a group of students, define any learning problems, research possible mediations and collect data.
