Creative Spirit Theatre Academy

The Creative Spirit Theatre Academy at Campbellsville University offers an inspiring environment where students of all ages can explore their creativity, strengthen their performance skills, and grow in confidence both on and off the stage. Through theatre and dance workshops, acting classes, and performance opportunities, participants learn teamwork, discipline, and self-expression in a faith-centered setting. Guided by experienced faculty and theatre professionals, the Academy nurtures the artistic spirit while encouraging personal growth, imagination, and a lifelong love of the performing arts.

 

The Academy offers a variety of classes and workshops throughout the year for different age groups and skill levels. Programs include:

  • Acting Fundamentals: Develop stage presence, vocal projection, and character-building techniques.
  • Musical Theatre: Combine singing, acting, and movement for dynamic stage performances.
  • Dance for Theatre: Learn choreography, expressive movement, and performance preparation.
  • Stagecraft and Design: Gain behind-the-scenes knowledge of set design, lighting, and costuming.

The Creative Spirit Theatre Academy Summer Camps at Campbellsville University invite young performers to experience the excitement of live theatre while developing creativity, teamwork, and confidence.
