Campbellsville University’s Beyond the Stethoscope: Exploring the World of Healthcare is a free, five-day immersive program designed for high school students aged 16–18 interested in healthcare careers. Hosted on CU’s main campus in Campbellsville, Kentucky, the program offers hands-on experiences in nursing and allied health fields. Participants engage in CPR and First Aid simulations, practice phlebotomy and medical assisting skills, and experience radiography and nursing simulations. They also have the opportunity to shadow professionals at local healthcare facilities, including Taylor Regional Hospital and Campbellsville AirEvac. The program provides a comprehensive view of healthcare professions, helping students explore potential career paths in a supportive, faith-based environment.
