As one of Senator McConnell’s interns, I will have a variety of duties. Interns are designated to be a press or legislative intern. I have been assigned as a legislative intern, which means I will assist staff by researching current legislation and drafting constituent responses. In addition, all interns perform other daily office duties such as sorting mail, making copies, giving tours of the Capitol, and answering telephones.

As part of my Disney College Program internship, I have had the incredible opportunity to work at Connections Eatery, a restaurant located right in the heart of EPCOT my favorite park in all of Walt Disney World. From the moment I started, I have been immersed in the fast-paced environment of quick service dining, learning how to handle guest interactions, maintain efficiency during busy times, and contribute to the overall magic that makes Disney so special. Working in EPCOT has made this experience even more meaningful, as I get to be part of a park that celebrates culture, innovation, and imagination every single day. Beyond the work itself, one of the most rewarding parts of the Disney College Program has been the people I've met and connecting with so many amazing individuals who've truly made this experience unforgettable.

This program has not only helped me grow professionally but has also given me lasting friendships and memories that I will carry with me long after the internship ends. It has been a perfect blend of hard work, personal growth, and pure fun in the most magical place on Earth. I’m so grateful to be part of the Disney College Program. While it’s different from a traditional internship, since it doesn’t directly align with my college major, it has given me valuable life and work experience that I’ll carry with me forever.
