Sex Discrimination Prevention & Awareness
Campbellsville University takes a holistic approach to preventing sex discrimination by providing engaging education and training designed to promote lasting culture change within a curricular framework.
Our approach is based on the social ecological model, which guides prevention efforts across four levels of engagement:
-
Individual Goal: Introduce CU Sexual Misconduct & Title IX policies to students and employees
-
Relationship Goal: Use interpersonal relationships to support prevention efforts
-
Campus Goal: Prioritize prevention as a key campus initiative
-
Community Goal: Align campus policies with community engagement for broader impact
This model emphasizes that education at the individual and relational levels is essential to create meaningful and sustainable change across the campus and beyond. Our trainings and events at each level are guided by three core institutional values: fellowship, scholarship, and leadership.
