Campbellsville University Alum Jennifer Arnold was recently awarded the WHAS11 ExCel Award. The award is presented annually to a teacher who goes above and beyond for their students.

Arnold is a preschool teacher at Rineyville Elementary in Hardin County, and she has also served as a cooperating teacher for Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education (IECE) student teachers since Spring 2021.

Arnold graduated in December 2010 from Campbellsville University and was one of the first IECE students, starting in the first year that Ms. Donna Fohl and Dr. Sharon Hundley began the program for Campbellsville. 

 At the ExCel Award Program, students in Ms. Arnold’s class were present. Also, as part of the ceremony, Arnold’s past students at Rineyville Elementary joined and sang a song to celebrate Arnold.
