Associate
Producers write, create and produce exciting and interesting newscasts and news
content for broadcast, online and social content. Producers must be able
to multi-task during news gathering hours, sharing content before, during and
after a newscast or digital post. Strong performers are detailed creative
problem solvers with strong journalistic judgment, think creatively, use social
media and digital tools to research, discover and distribute content. |
Responsibilities:
- Write and provide news content for air
- Collaborate with Producers, Executive Producers, Editors and the assignment desk to develop news stories
- Evaluate local, state, and national/international stories using Tegna Oasis, ABC, social media, news services and wires
- Learn to fill-in produce
- Perform other duties as assigned
