Dress Code:
- Appropriate athletic shoes and apparel are required throughout the facility at all
times.
- Shirts should cover all parts of the torso (front, back, & sides), & every portion
of the chest.
- Non-marking shoes are required in every portion of the gym except the walking track.
Open-toed shoes, flip flops, bare feet, boots, etc., are not allowed.
- No street shoes, jeans, or pants with metal buttons.
Food & Drink:
- Food & drinks are not allowed in activity areas except resealable bottles.
Locker Rooms:
- Lockers will be available at no charge.
- Locks will be the responsibility of the locker user and will only be permitted during
operating hours.
- All locks left overnight will be removed and discarded.
- Personal items will be held in the lost & found for one month.
- CU is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
Basketball Court:
- Appropriate shoes (athletic shoes) should be worn at ALL times.
- Non-marking shoes (dress shoes, heels, etc.)
- No food or beverages, excluding water with a lid.
- No glassware of any type.
- First come, first served outside of scheduled hours, intramurals, student recreational
activities, & student wellness center activities.
Cardio Area:
- No equipment is permitted in the cardio area.
- No food or beverages, excluding water with a lid.
- Follow all safety instructions & procedures for use of the equipment.
- All individual music devices must be accompanied by the use of headphones.
Fitness Room:
- No food or beverages, excluding water with a lid.
- Always clean the equipment before AND after using.
- The door MUST remain open at all times, excluding during an instructed class, which
is optional.
- All individual music devices must be accompanied by the use of headphones.
Strength Training Room:
- Follow all safety instructions & procedures for use of the equipment.
- If unsure how to operate a piece of equipment, staff will be available to demonstrate.
- Shirts, athletic shorts/pants, and athletic shoes must be worn at all times.
- All individual music devices must be accompanied by the use of headphones.
Walking Track:
- The direction will change each day; it is required that all who use the walking track
walk in the correct & indicated direction.
- No equipment is permitted on the walking track.
- No standing, sitting, or stretching is allowed on the walking track for safety reasons.
- No food or drinks permitted, excluding water bottles with a sealed, tight lid.
- No glassware of any type.
- No rough-housing.
Monday - Friday: 6 AM - 12 AM
Saturday: 9 AM - 10 PM
Sunday: 12 PM - 10 PM
