Campbellsville Water & Sewer in Campbellsville, KY is accepting applications for the full-time position of Finance Manager. Candidates must have basic computer knowledge, ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively while exhibiting a positive attitude.
Duties include being responsible for accounts payable function for Campbellsville Water & Sewer, including preparing and maintaining records in compliance with generally accepted accounting practices; receives and assembles invoices; matches statements with purchase orders for accounts payable; insures receipt of product or service; keys invoices for payment; prepares and writes checks; files all paid invoices; responsible for preparation, maintenance, and distribution of financial records in a timely manner; Prepares financial reports for council meetings; administers the utility’s investments program, including gathering of rate information and insuring security of investments; assists with preparation of budget to be presented to the City Council; assists with administration of budget after adoption; prepares reports for review by Public Works Director & City Council; and other administrative tasks while following company policies and procedures. Normal working hours will be 8:00 am until 4:30 pm.
Applicants must be 18 years of age, hold a valid Kentucky driver’s license, Graduation from high school a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration . Or have more than five years of experience in another business or financial occupation, such as loan officer, accountant, auditor, or financial analyst. A pre-employment drug screening and background check are required.
