The Athletic Awards night is set for Thursday, April 25. The event will take place in J.K. Powell gymnasium. This is a culmination event for all of athletics presented by the boosters. This has become a major event much like the Booster Auction.

The evenings activities include dinner followed by a program with awards. These awards will have naming opportunities associated with them. For instance, we will have the Don Bishop Champion of Character award. A member of the community in honor of Don Bishop has sponsored this.

Along with the awards, we will have a “maroon carpet” entrance for athletes and their families. The event will be streamed live, and we will have a master of ceremonies. This year’s master of ceremonies will be Claudia Coffey, host of Great Day Live on WHAS.

As the presenting sponsor, your company’s logo prominently displayed throughout the event. As we promote via our social media platforms, we would also utilize your logo and promote/thank you for the sponsorship. Your company will also be able to name one of the awards presented that evening. Your logo would appear on the big screen during the event, on the event program, via social media, and on all graphics pertaining to the athletic awards banquet.

• Peake AV Solutions Moment of the Year – Athlete
• Peake AV Solutions Moment of the Year – Team
• Gerald Printing Mr. Tiger Award (Seniors only)
• Gerald Printing Miss Tiger Award (Seniors only)
• Coach of the Year (naming opportunity $500)
• Saloma Baptist Church Team Servant Leaderships Award
• Male Newcomer of the Year (naming opportunity – $500)
• Female Newcomer of the Year (naming opportunity – $500)
• Alumni Association Scholar-Athlete of the Year (naming opportunity – $500)
• Hometown Pharmacy Community/Alumni of the Year
• Don Bishop Overall Champion of Character

All graduating seniors will also receive an athletics sash for graduation.

All finalist (up to 3 per award) are be invited to attend the meal and awards program. Their nomination also includes two additional tickets for their families. We will then sell meal tickets for $25 each. This event is capped at 400 attendees.
