Redefine Ability…The Center for Courageous Kids (CCK) is a non -profit, medical camp facility in Scottsville, KY that offers a fully accessible camping experience for children and their families FREE OF CHARGE. We need you to help transform our campers’ lives!
Applicants can be:
- Nurses
- Physician Assistants
- Nurse Practitioners
- Graduate Nurses
Responsibilities include…
- Responding to the needs of all assigned campers within a lodge
- Day to day camper medical management
- Providing emergent medical intervention (within scope of practice)
- Managing medication administration
- Overseeing medical procedures
- Ensuring EMRs are properly updated
- Assisting with camper arrival and departure processes
- Facilitating medical volunteer activities
- Presenting pertinent medical information to the lodge staff prior to camper arrival
- Working closely with lodge leaders and program staff to ensure the safety and welfare of all campers
- Available from May 26th until July 18th Summer CAMPS 2022
- June 7 – 11 Asthma/Respiratory/Cardio/Pulmonology – Brave Hearts
- June 14 – 18 Physical Disabilities
- June 21 – 25 Diabetes
- June 28 – July 2 Oncology & Siblings
- July 7-9 Autism
- July 12-16 Hematology/Oncology/Immune disorders Health Equity
