Aprons, hats, and uniforms will be provided and must be worn by all employees at all times. Please wash your hands before starting your job and as necessary throughout your shift.
Job Summary
- Daily preparation, set up, serve, and clean up.
- All prep needs for the next day as directed by the manager.
- Superior customer service and addressing all customer wants/needs.
Essential Functions
- May require lifting of up to 50 lbs. throughout the day.
- Must be able to work on your feet for the entire length of the shift.
- Must be able to work in extreme conditions of hot and cold (freezers, coolers, and hot equipment).
- Must be able to work on potentially hazardous surfaces (i.e. wet floors).
- Work with and around hazardous chemical solutions (cleaning supplies).
- Must be able to read and extend standard recipes.
Daily Schedule
Daily schedule may vary depending on special events or other activities occurring on that particular day. If you are unsure of what order things need to be done, please speak with the manager on duty.
Qualification Standards
- Knowledge in the operation of the following equipment:
- Meat slicer
- Steam kettle
- Stove
- Commercial mixer
- Food processor
- Grill
- Pizza oven
- Fryer
- Ability to recognize and maintain the highest standards with regards to appearance and flavor of food served.
- Completion of Pioneer College Caterers Sanitation Training Program (ServSafe).
