ATI Forged Products produces and markets a wide range of specialty metal alloys, including titanium, nickel, and steel forgings to end use markets such as aerospace, energy, oil & gas, and general industrial markets. We have several operating facilities and deliver products to customers globally.
We are currently seeking a Design Engineer Manager at our Lebanon, KY.
This position oversees and manages a team of Design Engineers.
Position responsibilities include:
* Works closely with Senior Management and Corporate to formulate, recommend, and execute programs, policies, and accountable objectives for all Design and Technical Services activities.
* Develops, manages and is accountable for a team of engineers. Creates individual training and development plans for each team member.
* Detail Orientated, ability to communicate with all Drafting, Engineering and Sales/Marketing personnel
* Works independently to solve problems, but uses good judgment in seeking guidance where appropriate. Interfaces with other departments regularly in completing routine work.
* Generate CAD based programs for CMM inspection and inspection result analysis
* Write and maintain operating procedures related to Electronic Model control
* Review, Evaluate and report CMM inspection data including re-fit and best fit.
* Create/Evaluate/Rework CAD Models.
* Create/Maintain Application based programming to aid in various functions.
* Responsible for Electronic data security and distribution through ftp system.
* Other job duties as assigned

* Bachelor’s degree in business or technical related field
* 3-5 years of experience
* 3D CAD Modeling experience
* Programming experience with CAD software’s
* Ability to read and understand blueprints
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Exceptional interpersonal skills
* Strong analytical skills to analyze and resolve difficult problems effectively and implement long term solutions
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
* Ability to travel
