Are you an experienced Social Media Marketer with three or more years of practical experience?  If so, keep reading!  We are a local media company with a growing Digital Agency division.  We are searching for a motivated Social Media Marketing Specialist who not only is looking to develop their skills, but also learn about other aspects of Digital Marketing Services.  This position is responsible for working with our local team of sellers and clients in planning, executing monitoring, optimizing and reporting on social media campaigns as well as a variety of other digital services.

This position reports directly to the Corporate Director of Digital Sales for BCI.

Job Description:


·         Provide recommended Social Media strategies and campaigns for local businesses

·         Write and create social media posts

·         Set up, execute, monitor, optimize and report on social media campaigns

·         Set up, monitor and report on a variety of digital services including Reputation management and other digital services

·         Attend client meetings as requested and contribute ideas to grow our customers’ business.

 Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum  3+ years’ experience with Social Media Marketing and Advertising in a business environment
  • Must be an excellent writer and overall communicator
  • Must be able to interpret data and draw actionable conclusions from data
  • Image, photography, video and sound editing abilities
  • Experience with various website analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, Comscore, Omniture, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Must be a self-starter and have an insatiable desire to learn


Desired Requirements:

Education:   Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marketing, or equivalent (preferred)

Special Skills/Expectations and Other Licenses/Certifications:

·         Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word required  (Keynote and other programs a plus)
