Position Description Refuge Church is a two year old Southern Baptist church plant in Charlestown, IN. We are currently seeking an individual to lead our worship & media ministry in biblical worship, while discipling, raising up and training other worship leaders to both serve in our church and to be sent out to plant churches and make an impact for the Kingdom of God. This is a part-time position requiring a minimum of 10 hours a week.

-Spiritual Life
-A seasoned, born again, baptized, believer in Jesus Christ, who has a commitment to   personal holiness, loves the Lord & shares Him with others.
-An individual that will commit to discipleship and making disciples that make disciples.
-Affirms beliefs of the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 & will commit to covenant church membership.
-A desire to be part of a disciple making/church planting movement.

Leadership & Musical Aptitude
-Musically inclined with a passion & gift to model and lead the church in biblical worship.
-Individual with strong Leadership aptitude who can raise up, equip & deploy other leaders in the music ministry to lead in our church & future plants.
-Individual must commit to prayer, preparation, communication and accountability over all areas of worship & media ministries. This means advance notice to the tech & worship team of song lyrics, music sheets, schedules & practice times for the week. Individual will also lead the worship planning team in creative worship planning.
