This is NOT a work from home position. This position requires an individual to work onsite in a call center.
The Home Services Consultant assists callers with setting up their home utility services. Individuals will use a consultative approach when offering & selling products and services to customers such as Phone, Internet, Cable TV, Satellite TV, DSL & more.
- Utilize consultative selling techniques to present key selling points, features and benefits while remaining focused on the customers’ needs and expectations
- Demonstrate professionalism and commitment to the role through superb attendance, punctuality and strong adherence to our code of conduct
- Demonstrate persistence, overcome objections and strive to improve your skills and sales performance
- Effectively communicate and build relationships with customers to provide a world class customer experience
- Consistently reach monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives
- Effectively execute the entire sales process from opening to close
- Work onsite in a call center environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both oral and written
- Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, Saturdays and occasional holidays
- Computer skills that include typing, understanding of commonly used software programs and the
- ability to navigate and learn to use proprietary programs
- Highly self motivated, energetic and results oriented
- Detail-oriented in order to ensure accuracy of information delivered to consumers and recorded for processing
- Ability to understand product/service and communicate features and benefits during sales calls
- Ability to build strong personal relationships over the phone and to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to communicate easily with a wide range of individuals with a strong phone presence
