Description:
Under limited supervision, performs highly responsible duties of rendering emergency care and transportation to the ill and injured persons. Requires extensive decision making abilities under pressure and a calm, professional demeanor. Considerable health and physical strength requirements are necessary. Although safety and risk management measures are implemented whenever possible there remain numerous unavoidable aspects which may place the Paramedic as risk of personal harm or illness resulting from the performance of their duties.

Pay rate of $16/hr. with 832 hrs. in scheduled overtime at $24/hr.
Requirements:
- Current KY State Paramedic Certification, Critical Care Endorsement preferred.
- Current Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Current ACLS Certification.
- PALS or equivalent, PHTLS or equivalent, NIMS certifications and Emergency Drivers Training recommended but not required for hire.
- Drug test, physical and criminal background check required.
