Position Description:
Cornerstone CDC, a private preschool in the St. Matthews area of Louisville, is seeking a par-time substitute teacher to join our staff. This teacher will work on an as-needed and as-available basis to relieve teachers during part and full day absences. This position is ideal for college students and those seeking a flexible schedule and exciting work environment.
We are seeking candidates who are energetic, nurturing and enjoy working as part of a team. We are a Reggio Emilia inspired preschool program where we focus on the whole child–empowering their thoughts, questions, interests, and in turn fostering a lifelong love of learning.
At Cornerstone, our staff are more than just teachers. They are the guides that take children through the journey of learning. They are the scribes who listen, record and display classroom experiences. They are advocates for the children, and they work closely with colleagues and parents to foster an inviting, interesting, community-based learning environment.
