Position Description
Our summer staff counselors make up an intimate team of Christian young adults who commit to serve with us for the summer from the last week in May (during which we host a mandatory staff training) to the last week in July.* We serve children and youth from grades pre-K through twelfth in several camp programming tracks: day camp (pre-K-3rd grades), overnight camp (3rd-8th grades), Adventure Camp (6th-12th grades), and the Timothy Leadership Institute (9th-12th grades). We train all our counselors as lifeguards and challenge course facilitators level 1 in order to facilitate all our activities which include but are not limited to pool, paddle-boards, zip line, and giant swing. It is our intention to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with every camper and retreat guest who visit us and ask that our counselors share in that vision. *Note: In order to accommodate varying summer schedules, we also hire those able to serve the last week of May and either June or July.
