The Campbellsville University Big Maroon Club will be hosting a Dinner/Auction on April 16, 2010. The guest speaker for the dinner will be legendary Hall of Fame football player Dick Butkus. The price of admission to the dinner will be $35 a person or & $60 a couple. After the dinner a small auction will be held featuring autographed balls and two opportunities to play golf as a part of a foursome with Dick Butkus at the Big Maroon Club Golf Scramble. The Big Maroon Club Golf Scramble will be held on April 17, 2010 at the Campbellsville/Taylor County Country Club.
This year’s format will be a four person scramble. The scramble format comprises of a round of golf with the foursome competing for the lowest score. After everyone hits a tee shot, the “Captain’s Choice” of the next shot puts all members hitting from the same spot. Teams will be handicapped and awards presented to top two (2) net scores and top two (2) gross scores.
