Campbellsville University’s Office of Regional and Professional Education will hold an open house/fall registration event at the Brockman Center in Hodgenville Tuesday, June 29 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Brockman Center is located at 813 Old Elizabethtown Road, Hodgenville.
At the meeting, registration will be conducted for fall 2010 classes, late summer/fall Technology Training Center courses and Kids College, which is July 19-22.
List of courses offered include: Christian Studies CHS 111 Old Testament Survey, Tuesdays, Aug. 24-Oct. 12; Business Administration BA 311 Principles of Management, Thursdays, Aug. 26-Oct. 14; Christian Studies CHS 130 Religion in Life, Tuesdays, Oct. 19-Dec. 7;
Business Administration BA 384 Business Ethics, Thursdays, Oct. 21-Dec. 16; and English ENG 170 Introduction to Literature Mondays, Aug, 23-Dec. 6.
Campbellsville University President Michael V. Carter, said, “The Brockman Center in Hodgenville is key to the growth of Campbellsville University.
“The support we have received from LaRue County and from President Thelma White and her Elizabethtown Community and Technical College staff is helping us bring courses to Hodgenville that will allow students to further their education and fulfill their calling.”
Dr. Keith Spears, vice president for regional and professional education, said, “Surveys of graduates from Elizabethtown Community & Technical College show us that degree completion programs are important. We hear from students who want to finish their baccalaureate degrees near their homes. We are designing programs that will allow them to do just that.”
Josh McFarland, regional coordinator, said there will be a live remote from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with WQXE along with free refreshments and door prizes.
“The Brockman Center is an ideal location for education,” he said. “We have a high tech structure combined with a very comfortable learning environment that suits the needs of adults.”
