CU English professor receives tenure, promotion

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Dr. Ariel Kei Wilson, nee Dr. Susan Wright, assistant professor of English at Campbellsville University, received tenure and has been promoted to associate professor of English, according to an announcement from Dr. Michael V. Carter, president of Campbellsville University.

Wilson, an alumna of Campbellsville University, has taught at CU since 2006. She graduated valedictorian and summa cum laude in 1999 with a bachelor of arts in English and psychology.

Wilson of Campbellsville also has a master of arts in English with emphasis in creative writing, and a doctorate in English, rhetoric and composition, both from the University of Louisville. She served as graduate teaching assistant and adjunct instructor at the University of Louisville from 1999 to 2005.

She has served in various roles on numerous committees, and has been published multiple times.

She is the wife of Rick Wilson.
