Mr. Chris McNear is an instructor of Business Information Technology beginning in January of 2020. He has a passion for teaching and mentoring young aspiring minds and hopes to be a small part of helping them grow into God-first-minded business professionals. He brings over ten years of combined real-world management and information technology experience into his classroom, where he infuses that into his students’ teachings. He is also a part of CU’s learning community program (which pairs First-Year Experience courses and General Education courses). Learning community programs have shown to be effective toward improving student retention and success. Mr. McNear prides himself on being a part of such a program that has been proven to increase Retention Rates and Year-to-Year Persistence Rates. Learning community programs also help increase Student Achievement (measured by pass rates) and Accomplishing Learning Outcomes.
