Hello! My name is Dr. Ken Hollis. I was born in Georgia, raised in Florida, and moved to Kentucky when I joined the U.S. Army in 1976 and was stationed at Fort Knox. It was during my time in the Army that two life changing events occurred; I met and married my wife Dodie, and I received a call to the ministry. Since being discharged from the Army in 1980 my life has been blessed personally and professionally. On a personal level Dodie and I have been married for nearly 40 years. We have two grown daughters, two sons-in-law, two grandsons and one granddaughter (pictures available upon request). On a professional/ ministerial level I found that God had called me to not one but three ministries. For 35-years I have had the privilege of serving three churches, one as Minister of Education and two as Senior Pastor. Through my time as a pastor I found God leading me into both the educational and counseling ministries. Today I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, as well as the director of CU’s Marriage and Family Therapy program. My idea of fun is working out and martial arts (I hold a 6th degree black belt in Tae Kwan Do).
