New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation at Campbellsville University is an exciting time for all incoming freshmen to get to know campus and all it has to offer. Students have the opportunity to connect with classmates, faculty and staff in an environment where they will begin to engage in campus life intellectually, socially and spiritually!

All incoming freshmen are required to attend New Student Orientation Aug. 16 – 19, 2019. Come ready to move in and start your new adventure as a Campbellsville University Tiger!

Weekend Schedule 

Friday, August 16th, 2019

  • 8 am – 3 pm: Freshmen Move In
  • 11 am – 1 pm: Lunch
  • 2 pm – 3 pm: Commuter Check-In
  • 3 pm – 4:30 pm: Welcome
  • 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm: Parent Q&A
  • 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm: Commuter Session
  • 5 pm: Dinner
  • 6:30 pm: Induction Ceremony
  • 8 pm: Late Night Activity

 Saturday, August 17th, 2019 (All First-Year Students)

  • 8 am – 9 am: Breakfast
  • 9 am: Kickoff to the Day
  • 9:30 am – 11:30 am: Breakout Session 1
  • 11:45 am – 1 pm: Lunch
  • 1:15 pm – 4:45 pm: Breakout Session 2
  • 5 pm – 6 pm: Dinner
  • 7 pm – 10 pm: Staff/Faculty-Student Challenge

 Sunday, August 18th, 2019 (All First-Year Students)

  • 8 am – 9 am: Breakfast
  • 9:30 am – 11 am: Service in Chapel
  • 11 am – 1:30 pm: Lunch
  • 1 pm – 5 pm: Workshop Rotations
  • 5 pm – 6:30 pm: Dinner
  • 7 pm: Concert, Ice Cream Social & BCM Ministry Fair

 Monday, August 19th, 2019 (All First-Year Students)

  • 8 am – 9 am: Breakfast
  • 10 am – 11:30 am: OR Large Group
  • 11 am – 1 pm: Lunch
  • 1 pm – 5 pm: Walk class schedule
  • 5 pm – 7 pm: Dinner
  • 5 pm – 7 pm: Welcome Back Festival

After moving in, students and parents will get the opportunity to meet faculty, staff and students on Friday before getting to experience a launching ceremony for the freshman class. Parents are then free to head home by 7:00 p.m. while orientation programming will continue for students.
