CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Gen. Ed Loy of Campbellsville, chair of a local task force to help CU and the community discover ways to expand opportunities for active military and their families, led a recent update meeting on campus.
Among the accomplishments of the task force is a new Campbellsville University web presence dedicated to veterans and their families. It not only features academic programs and financial aid but also local community, health care and local school connections.

In its development, Frazier said CU wanted the veteran’s site to give a holistic search and assist for veterans, an all-encompassing resource. He credited Fuqua, a double CU graduate who has used the veterans benefit personally through two deployments, along with Chris Goodson, also a CU alum and local veteran’s employment representative, Kentucky Career Center.
Present at the meeting were: Dr. John Chowning, Gen. Ed Loy, Don Conover, Dr. Ross Bowen, Dr. Keith Spears, Randy Hearon, Otto Tennant, Chris Goodson, Judge Executive Eddie Rogers, Mayor Tony Young, Linda Waggener, Josh Fuqua, Dr. DeWayne Frazier, Dr. Frank Cheatham and Dave Walters.
