CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University’s Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy (MMFT) degree program has been named number one in The Best Master’s In Marriage and Family Therapy report released by Intelligent.com with a score of 99.89.

The MMFT program at Campbellsville University falls under the School of Theology. The estimated cost per credit hour is $399 and they are accredited with the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education. The delivery method for the program is hybrid, with half being face-to-face at the Louisville Education Center and half being online.

Based on the report from Intelligent, all 50 states require a master’s degree to practice, therapy jobs are forecasted to grow by 22 percent through 2029 and their annual wage is on average more than $50,000 a year.

The report looked at 184 colleges and university with 317 education programs being compared. All programs are regionally accredited and many have therapy-specific accreditation from the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) or the Council for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE).

Each program was evaluated on the basis of flexibility, faculty, course strength, cost and reputation.
