Campbellsville University nursing students, Carissa Royer of Hendersonville, N.C; Jackie Plouvier of Hogenville, and Sandy Froggett of Greensburg; came to Campbellsville Elementary School on Monday, March 7, to talk to students about helmet safety, handwashing and healthy snacks.
Students learned how they should dress to ride a bicycle, how long they should wash their hands and what snacks are good for them, and which ones aren’t.
CES first-grader Jace Hagy and kindergartener Phoebe Ritchie won bicycle helmets to take home.
First-grader Bryleigh Curry won elbow pads, and second-grader Jaron Johnson took home knee pads.
