CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The Campbellsville University Orchestra will present a concert Thursday, Dec.7 at 8 p.m. in the sanctuary of Campbellsville Baptist Church.
The University Orchestra is conducted by Dr. J. Robert Gaddis, dean of the School of Music. This concert is a part of the Centennial Celebration of Campbellsville University and will feature Dr. Robert Reynolds, a 1968 graduate of Campbellsville University as piano soloist performing Beethoven’s “Piano Concerto # 4, Allegro Moderato” Movement and the world famous “Rhapsody in Blue” by George Gershwin.
Other works on the program include the “Chorale and fourth movement of the Symphony #5 (Reformation Symphony)” by Felix Mendelssohn, “Egmont Overture” by Beethoven and “Introduction to Act III” of Lohengrin by Richard Wagner.
“Egmont Overture” will be guest conducted by Wan Soo Cho, a graduate conducting student at Campbellsville University.

Flute – Nell Haydon, Sarah Norberto and Cheng-I Wu; Oboe – Yoo Jin Lee and Jeff Parks; Clarinet – Il Hun Jang and Jessica Kamaunu; Bass Clarinet – Dana Jones;
Bassoon – Dana Etherington and Hyo Jin Kim; Horn – Megan Lenox, Josh Pollock, Katherine Vinson and Bradley Whitehead; Trumpet – Curtis Bennett, John Lenox and Daniel Murphy; Trombone – Zach Shelton and Steven Smith;
Tuba – Al Courington; Percussion – Daniel Druen, Adam Hopper and Jacob Stickle; and Piano – Leonardo Santos.
