CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville University has promoted Dr. Shane Garrison, vice president for enrollment services and associate professor of educational ministries, to professor of theology and vice president for enrollment services, per an announcement from Dr. Michael V. Carter, president of Campbellsville University, on April 16.

Garrison has taught theology at Campbellsville University since 2008.

Before Campbellsville University, Garrison founded Maple Trail Ministry Consultants where he served as president and lead consultant, worked as a curriculum writer and executive consultant for Lifeway Christian Resources, and was a transitional pastor for several churches.

He received his Ed.D. in leadership from Southern Theological Seminary in 2009 as well as his Master of Divinity and Master of Arts degree in Biblical Languages and Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2002 and 2003. He also received his bachelor of science degree from Campbellsville University in 1999.

He is the husband of Dr. Jennifer Garrison, associate professor of theology at Campbellsville University, and they have two children, Isaac and Ethan.
